Share The Faith’s Support A Missionary Priest Application to Help Transfigure America 

Dear Father, glory to Our Jesus Christ!

Though we look forward to being able to offer more, what would $600 -$12,000 divided into 12 monthly grants help you accomplish in the healing and salvation of souls, starting with your own family’s? While we are working to be able to offer larger grants in the future for domestic missionary work here in America, by God’s grace, we have some level of assistance to offer now. Your proving what fruits these grants can produce will help us be able to offer substantially more to you and your colleagues in the future.

Please Note: All requests from canonical clergy in our United States will be considered. Applications from capable (& trained) deacons and un-ordained missionaries will be reviewed and approved based on funds availability.

As of May 1, 2026, we are implementing a tier system with our stipends. In essence, whatever board approved stipend allotted for our priests, after one year, that stipend will be reduced by fifty percent. Our program was designed to support priests for two years if we see progress in the growth of the mission towards parish status, zeal towards catechism for the faithful, both those newly entering and those who are already baptized. We also expect active participation of priests with monthly or bi-monthly updates to Deacon Christopher so that we can provide information to Orthodoxy-at-large and new donors on our website, mailers, or just word of mouth.

Having said this, a third year with Share the Faith will be considered if there are mitigating circumstances, or if there is a project that needs to be completed within that year, but there will be further reduction of the stipend. Needless to say, the third year will not be a given a mission priest needs to show us clear exit strategy and readiness to move on to suffer and rejoice in the Lord with his faithful.

The idea is to spread Orthodoxy and to heed the call of Christ to make disciples of all men. We must not lose focus at this juncture as Orthodoxy is growing in the United States and we want to make sure our resources can be prolongated and used for as many future priests as possible
