Sept 4, 2026, Update by recipient Priest, Father Theodore Foley from St. Elizabeth the New Martyr Mission in Cullman, AL.
Father Theodore reports, “As of late we have been very busy. We finished adorning the trapeza area with nice, proper Orthodox icons and we completed the overflow trapeza room since we are steadily growing. We made around 5 or so catechumens last month and we are set to make another 5 or so this upcoming weekend. I’d say we usually have around 30-35 people every liturgy which is a 150% increase from around this time last year. The catechumens are very eager to learn more about our holy faith. We are actually going on a parish pilgrimage with about 7 or 8 catechumens to St. Anthony’s Greek Orthodox monastery in Arizona in October, which many people are excited for since many of them love Elder Ephraim and have never been to a monastery.”
Great progress is being made through the zeal and faithfulness of Fr. Theodore and his mission in Cullman, GA. Glory to God for His work in bringing new saints into the Holy Orthodox Church!
