When Words Are Lacking – Trust in the Power and Presence of God
Eloquence will get us no-where; it is The Power and Presence of God that can move mountains in our hearts and lives to the point of having a deeper personal intimate relationship with The Lord God Almighty, The Fullness of God in Christ Jesus. If we are positioning ourselves with propaganda rather than prayer, our priorities will plummet instead of prosper. The Old Testiment prophet Daniel waited much longer than expected to see the salvation of the Lord in his situation because of the prince of Persia was withholding the angel of the Lord in battle from reaching the prophet, but because the prophet persisted in prayer, the angel finally broke through in battle and reached the prophet with the news he was waiting for. There is power in prayer over propaganda. Words are weak in what relationship and friendship can do much better. Sometimes God gives us frustrations to cause us to seek His face and friendship more diligently not just for a solution to our frustration but to cause us to go deeper in friendship with Him which is His ultimate goal. It has been said that the language of Paradise is silence. Talk to God about the person before you talk to the person about God. The voice of the Lord is The Voice of Many Waters and is more of a fluid impression than a voice. I was never successful in sales until I put my priorities to prayer and put my relationship with God first before my riches, but there is always that prince of Persia that God uses to teach us patience and invite us closer to God in personal intimate relationship with Him; and God uses the foolish things to confound the wise. We are God’s peculiar people, though we are the finest ones; we are Gideon’s three hundred, though we are millions. Our director at Share The Faith prayed long and hard for funding to lift some burden off sacrificial mission Orthodox priests and that has been accomplished. We just received a sizable donation and now we have a matching grant, matching donations up to $100k for the next three months to the end of 2023.
